The way points of this bicycle route:
This was the first of seven designated stops at whcih we enjoyed lunch for 15 minutes only. Under instructions from Captain Heather
A wine making town is our 2nd designated stop.
Another wine making town - this is our 3rd designated stop for dinner. Captain heather has us down for 20 minutes this time.
4th designated stop for quick snack before the stopover.
The overnight stop - well just for a few hours and dinner - before a 5.00am AEST start to get into Rochester within the 24 hour limit and event rules - that is must be outside of 30km fro Rochester by 7.00am Sunday.
Must not be closer than 30km to Rochester at 7.00am - the purpose of this rule is so riders converge on Rochester at about the same time.
Much fanfare and celebrations after this ride in under 24 hours - with all five riders and 3 support crew safe and sound. Our team was the Wheel Nuts.
