Go through gap in scoria rock wall to Grand Drive

Sylvia Park north entry (controlled intersection) - note satellite image is out of date as at September 2007
Turn right at roundabout
Follow line of SEART overhead highway east through break between and north and south mall
Turn right at Sylvia Park railway station pedestrian bridge on to site orbital road
Cross the railway line on 'The Hook' overbridge to Carbine Road
Waipuna Road and Waipuna Road East connected by foot path
Lagoon Drive and Bridge Street connected by foot path
Park bike at bottom of Peacock Street, walk down foot path to Karaka Bay
Note: Cliff Road one-way from Achilles Point car park to south end Springcombe Road
