Auburn to Vernon, NY (bypass of Syracuse)

My wife and I rode this in 2009 as part of a cross-country tour. We road west to east on US 5 to Elbridge, then bypassed around the Syracuse area on the route shown. Most of the bypass route was very nice - low traffic and good shoulders on the roads. by colobikenut
