This is a great, almost car free, long and scenic route. This version follows the paved path for the most part, though stays on River Road for a portion - I think that is a great riding road. But one can stay on the path the whole way to avoid all cars and some up and down. The path for several miles upstream from Woody Creek is not paved, though it is hard packed and ridable even by road bikes.by chasbrew
