Ash Grove Ride for dpi

The way points of this bicycle route:

Ride starts in the parking lot at the northeast corner of Olive and Booneville. Plenty of free parking.

Just starting to get warmed up and meet the new riders

Still in the middle of Springfield but usually it is early and traffic isn't a problem

Some quick turns here so keep an eye out. Hope there isn't a train to hold you up

Past the pet cemetery and heading for the country

Riding along side the Frisco Highline Trail here. If you are on a hybrid or have wider tires, give it a try

Start of a nice rolling loop to add some extra miles

Some rolling hills through here but beautiful scenery to take your mind off it

60 mph speed limit on in to town but good sight lines

Be sure and stop at Willie B's at Hwy 160 and Route F for some great pancakes.

Finally a longer stretch where you can get it rolling

Mind the downhill and the sharp turn at the bottom

Pulling back into Willard and traffic picks up again

Traffic starts to pick up more as you pull into Springfield

Time to start talking about the next ride and thank Ralph for planning the route

Stop by Queen City Cycles on your way home and pick up some lube or tubes and talk about the great ride!
