The way points of this bicycle route:

Ashbury

Asbury

Whatch out for the roundabout

Caterbury

The Broughton St lights change before the Jeffrey St ones do.

Make sure that you hold your line through the round-about.

don't let the cars past here as they slam the brakes on for the corner and ruin your line

Earlwood

Watch out at this round-about

A 2way stop sign here that confuses everyone. We don't stop unless we have to so that we get a run up on the slight uphill.

This round-about is a bad one take extra care as the casgers coming up the hill don't seem to like to stop.

Take the lane when crossing this bridge. If a car overtakes it could get nasty. Keep to the right after crossing so that you can turn into the Tempe station carpark

Slow down for the blind corner. If you have a bell or horn, use it.

Tempe

This is a well set up cycle crossing. The lights take a while to change though

This road goes through a car park. If you look over towards the airport you will see where you need to ride.

In a single you can cut the corner where as on a tandem take the long way round the corner

turn left onto the cycleway. This sometimes has wallys taking photos of planes.

It's nice and flat along here

Watch out for the really sharp right angle bend

Look out for trucks and courier vans turning in and out of the driveways

A cycleway is marked on the right hand side foot path. Dont use it as it constantly crosses drivways. Just use the road which has fairly slow traffic

Watch out for cars at this round-about. It's normally very quiet.

This is the tricky bit where you go straight ahead at the end of the road and ride along the path through the reserve and through the bridge under Gardeners Rd.

Go left up to Gardeners Rd and then a hairpin up to the shared footpath

Randwick

Drop off the stoker and head for home

If you have an Air Zound horn then this is one of the best garages to fill it up at. Usually between 100 and 110 psi.

Cycle track along here. Watch for pedestrians

If you dont like traffic, turn onto the path

Turn off to the left here and the path goes to an overbridge that leads into quiet streets for a backroads jaunt through to redfern.

I take the road and take the lane. I can normally keep up or go faster than the traffic here.

Turn Left into Regent and move into the right hand lane

Watch out for pedestrians here when you turn into Everleigh. I need the Air zound!

Have a morning coffee at the Old Fish Shop Cafe. Rocket fuel for the day.
