THis is a route my wife and I rode this spring (2009) as part of a cross-country ride. It deviates from the ACA TransAm route at Rush Center, KS and ends at the western entrance to the Katy Trail. The latter, which can be easily ridden with road bikes even though it is unpaved, goes across Missouri into St. Louis. This route is mostly flat and the traffic volume is generally light.
