Turn right onto Palos Verdes Drive West
Continue straight on Palos Verdes Drive North
Turn right at Anaheim street
Make a left u-turn and bear right to stay on the street parallel to Anaheim. This street does not go up.
At the end of the street, go through a gate and onto the L.A. River bike path
You are not veering right and away from the LA River. The bike path now follows the Rio Hondo river.
Turn left to cross the bike bridge to the West side of the Rio Hondo river.
The park on your left has restrooms and water
The bike path turns left and climbs to the top of the flood control dam.
Cross through the gate but continue on the bike path.
This is where you re-enter the bike path
Exit the bike path
Turn right on San Gabriel blvd
Cross Rosemead bldv and get on the sidewalk on the far right of the corner to continue onto the bike path.
Enter the bike path
The road merges with the San Gabriel river bike path.
Turn left to continue on the bike path along San Gabriel river.
Exit the bike path
Cross the Arrow Hwy to continue on the bike path.
Go through the gate to continue on the bike path.
Make a sharp right turn to continue on the bike path to the top of the Santa Fe Dam.
Continue straight on the top of the dam, which is still the bike path.
Turn left
Go straight to cross the road and continue on the bike path.
Tuen left to continue on the bike path. Just follow the bike path signs.
Turn right to continue on the bike path.
Continue on the bike path as you re-join the San Gabriel river and cross under the 210 freeway.
Turn right to go to the restroom, get water, and sit down while resting. Climbing will soon begin.

The bike path is about to end. You may want to make it onto Hwy 39 when it's safe
The bike path ends about here, so you must get onto the Hwy 39
Turn right at the bridge. This is the beginning of the East Fork Rd
This is a regroup point. Stop on the right of the bridge, cross over the metal railing to stay off the road and wait for the rest of the group.
Turn left to go into the parking lot. There is water here, and you should top off your bottles because there will be no water for a while.
Turn right (sharp) onto Glendora Mountain Rd
This is where Glendora Mountain Rd meets Glendora Ridge Rd. It is also a regroup point.
Turn left at Glendora Ridge Rd
This is a steep descent. Pay attention at the bottom because there is a stop sign after a sharp right curve.
Turn left onto Mount Baldy Rd
Turn left into the post office parking lot. There are benches there and a water fountain.
This is a regroup point. We should be done with most of the climbing for the day. The He-man option is to go up Mount Baldy Rd to the ski lift parking lot.

Turn left on N. Mills Ave
Turn right on E. Baseline Rd (Hwy 30)
Turn right on Foothill Blvd, which continues as Hwy 30 and as historic route 66
Foothill Blvd becomes E. Alosta Ave and continues as the historic rte 66
E. Alosta Ave becomes W Alosta Ave
Alosta Ave becomes (merges with) Foothill Blvd
Turn left on N Irwindale Ave.
Turn left into the parking lot of the Farmer Boys restaurant for a well-deserved late lunch.
Turn right from the parking lot onto N Irwindale Ave
Turn left on Foothill Blvd
Turn right to get into the parking lot by the bike path
Get water and use the restroom before heading out on the bike path
Turn left entering the bike path
Turn left to continue on the bike path
Turn right to continue on the bike path
Veer left to ride off the dam
Turn sharply left to continue on the bike path
Cross Arrow Hwy to get on the San Gabriel river bike path
Turn right to continue on the bike path
Cross Durfee Ave in the crosswalk and resume riding West on San Gabriel Blvd
Turn left to go West on San Gabriel Blvd
Turn left on Lincoln Blvd and get onto the bike path on the left
The park on the right has restrooms and water. This is the last stop for the day
Turn left to cross the bike bridge
Turn right off the bridge
Turn left through the gate and off the bike path
Go straight ahead. This is a one-way street, so you may be safer on the sidewalk. It's not a busy street.
Turn sharply right to get onto Anaheim St
Turn left from the right left-turn lane onto PV Drive North
Turn left at Via Campesina
Turn right at Via Chico and go under a gate
Turn left into the Malaga Cove Plaza parking lot
