This section of Martinsburg Road is an old carriage road, and is a tough road for bikes, especially tri bikes (lots of bumps, cracks, and potholes), but it's over quickly (once you make the hard right onto the last stretch of Martinsburg Rd)
Dickerson market is here. Good convenience store/market for water/gatorade. Portapotty (not very clean) to the right. Also has an overhang that can fit 3 or 4 cyclists during a downpour (I know from experience).

Beautiful ride that can be extended easily out by Sugarloaf - stay on Comus and come back Peachtree, Slidell, or Shiloh Creek Road (all are fine, although SC Road is a little bumpy)
