The way points of this bicycle route:

This section of Martinsburg Road is an old carriage road, and is a tough road for bikes, especially tri bikes (lots of bumps, cracks, and potholes), but it's over quickly (once you make the hard right onto the last stretch of Martinsburg Rd)

Dickerson

Dickerson market is here. Good convenience store/market for water/gatorade. Portapotty (not very clean) to the right. Also has an overhang that can fit 3 or 4 cyclists during a downpour (I know from experience).

40 miles here from Bethesda

41 miles from Bethesda

West Harris is NOT a good road; not paved.

Sugarloaf Mountain parking lot. 43 miles from Bethesda

Sugarlof Vineyard is along here

45 miles

Route Details

Beautiful ride that can be extended easily out by Sugarloaf - stay on Comus and come back Peachtree, Slidell, or Shiloh Creek Road (all are fine, although SC Road is a little bumpy)
