The way points of this bicycle route:

New London

If you need to park, use the lot across the street from the library. Start at Pleasant and Main by heading SW on S Pleasant St

Left onto Old Main for a VERY brief jog

Immediate right at the cemetary onto Bog Road

At the top of the climb, turn right onto King Hill Road

At the stop sign, turn left onto 103A Southbound

Start climbing Grace Hill; entering Newbury

Newbury

Left onto Chalk Pond Road.

Sutton

Right onto Newbury Road

Stay right onto Newbury/Old Newbury Road (it's the obvious throughway here)

Newbury

Stay left onto Sutton Road.

Right onto 103. A couple of tough, false-flat miles into Newbury Harbor

If you need anything for your bike, cross the street to Outspokin'. Tell Will that Steve sent you. Otherwise, bear slightly left to follow 103

Straight on through the traffic circle to keep going on 103. Some people turn right here but I prefer the road surface and the couple of extra (flat) miles you get if you keep on going.

Sunapee

Hammer the flat for the next few miles

Bear right to pick up rt 11 NW to Sunapee, Georges Mills, and New London

Once you're past 103B, take your next right onto Main St, then up the hill into Sunapee Harbor

Keep going straight

If you feel like it, grab coffee and a snack at Marzelli's Deli on your right. If not, take a sharp left at the bottom of the hill onto Garnet Street

Watch the road surface through here. It's kinda rough, but not for long.

Right after Dewey Beach, turn right onto Jobs Creek

Don't miss the right onto Garnet Hill. This is a nice little loop off of the "main" road through here.

Right to get back onto Jobs Creek. Watch this turn since you have lousy visibility to the left.

Enjoy the descent. You've got a good view of any traffic at the next intersection, so don't be afraid to crank through here.

Georges Mills

Right to get back onto Route 11

Watch the road surface and traffic for the next mile.

New London

Right onto 103A Southbound again

Left onto Page Road

Left onto County Road

Right onto Tracy Road

Left onto King Hill Road again. But you're NOT going back the way you came, so DON'T take the next left onto Bog Road

Slow down as you come under the highway, you're about to take a sharp right.

Right onto Hominy Pot. Lovely road!

Sutton

This isn't really an intersection. Just keep going; don't worry about the street changing names to Kezar St.

Look out to the left, but don't stop if you don't have to (it's only a yield sign!). Turn right onto 114 South

Left at the Police and Fire stations (across from each other) onto North Road, towards I-89

Left to stay on North Road, then under the highway

Left onto Shaker Road. Enjoy the up and down!

New London

Left onto Route 11. Be patient if there's traffic

Right onto Seaman's Road. You'll be climbing for a mile.

At the police station, turn right onto Main St.

Finish at Pleasant and Main
