this is a cool outlook where you can see the whole valley. i also did yoga a couple times here. someones body is also likely buried here, considering the large monument.

watch for fast-moving autos not expecting bikers.
this is the rail to trail which runs from ingalls ave just north of hoosick all the way to 125th. let's head north.

this is where the bike path ends. we will revisit it later, believe it or not.
this used to be freihoffers bakery until the city tore it down.

this is a lock. its cool. i forget the number/name, but i will look it up.
here we get on this rad little dirt path along a section of the champlain canal. its fun to go fast here.
