This is a major breakpoint, complete with bicycle repair facilities set up.
Although this is pretty flat countryside, you should be able to get up to 40 mph if you stay off the brakes on this drop down into the Colorado River valley.
Be sure to take the time to get a full lunch. Austin is a lot farther away than you remember from driving the route in a car!
