The way points of this bicycle route:
Go on to cycle path here to avoid roundabout which can be busy
At end of car park go on to cyclce path
At end of cycle path go along pavement for 20/30m and cross road when you reach first drop kerb
Go along pavement until you see cyclepath just before first house
Parallel barrier under underpass - easy if you go slow.
At end of cyclepath turn left onto pavement not road as a difficult gate across road
Easiest if you stay on cyclepath now until Shawbirch
Come off cyclepath onto road.
Take care here - road can be busy
Pub here which does not too bad food - only been in on crutches not wheelchair so no comments on accessability
Look for cycpath 100m or so after pub
There are NCN81 signs to guide you through housing estate
Cafe in park - basic sandwiches etc. Disabled loo neare to river.
