This part of the route can get dangerous depending on the time and day. There is no bike lane. Weekday evenings there is lots of traffic (and buses) and drivers tend to crowd you. Weekday late morning and weekend mornings are the safest times.
End of dangerous section. Ventura Blvd can get hairy at times. Be careful.
Chandler Bike lane. Street is scenic (lots of nice houses) and minimal traffic. Very pleasant section.
