Salida desde Ávila dirección Burghondo por la AV-900. Carretera en muy buen estado, sin mucho tráfico y arcén ancho. La ascensión comienza un poco antes del desvío hacía la Aldea del Rey Niño, con una rampa al 9%. De ahí en adelante, ascensión sin grandes rampas y con algún descanso. Se corona a 1426m de altitud.
