| this route includes the shuttle to the Myra Canyon parking lot. You need a mountain bike for this one. After Chute lake trail becomes very rough with pockets of sand. I hit the last pocket of sand before the outskirts of Penticton and ruined my rear STI shifter on my Tricross. The wrong bike for this trip! |

| From Winfield BC through Carrs Landing road surface is good until 4km before predator ridge where it turns to hard packed dirt -- still good for road bikes - relatively smooth. Around Okanagan Lk and then back up to Winfield. approx 1900m elevation gain. |
