7 sisters San Angelo brndll Oct 16th United States > Texas > San Angelo 65.9km Onroad, Smooth, Low traffic, Safe, Rural
Famous old training ride for SABA members. Predominately a headwind going out on 277. 7 sisters refers to the 7 hills along RR 2335 that are all pretty similar in appearance. Some bigger but all similar grade and all in a line on the same road. Nice tailwind assist when you head back through Knickerbocker during most of the year. One big hill near there and quiet flat roads coming back. Trafficy from airport back in but not unsafe.
Arden Loop San Angelo brndll Oct 16th United States > Texas > San Angelo 74.2km Onroad, Smooth, Basic, Low traffic, Safe, Rural
Arden to Mertzon loop. Great ride, almost no traffic and only a few hills. Beautiful section on RR 853 as you are coming south towards Mertzon. One of my favorite rides around San Angelo. Usually fast coming back into San Angelo on 67 because pavement is smooth and there is usually a slight cross tailwind. Always helps finish the ride strong.
Burma Road Grape Creek Loop San Angelo brndll Oct 16th United States > Texas > San Angelo 62.2km Recreational, Onroad, Basic, Low traffic, Safe, Rural
Simple road loop with some hills on Burma Road, some traffic coming back on 87. Pick your times of day carefully and its a quiet route. Burma and Arden are quiet.
