This is a ride from my friend's house on the west side to my house. The part of this ride that was on Central/Route 66 was kind of dangerous (but there is a bike lane). The rest of the ride was pretty safe.

My House to Kate's Parents brian.stinar May 28th United States > New Mexico > Albuquerque 11.9km Offroad, Low traffic, Safe, Urban
The major portion of this route is on the North/South Diversion Channel Trail. This trail is extremely safe during the day, with a bit of foot traffic and bike traffic. I would not recommend this trail for women at night, because homeless dudes are always chilling out along it. I never have any problems, but I don't encourage my girlfriend to ride it alone. The only portion of this route you might want to be careful on would be the road section of Osuna. Osuna is a pretty quick road, and is not good to ride on unless you are fairly comfortable with cars. However, there is a nice walk way on a portion of it and if you change sides of the street you can stay on sidewalk.
