lost I starbrite Jul 16th United States > California > Costa Mesa 32km
I was going to pick up some items I had claimed on Freecycle. I mapped out the route on Google Maps, then decided I wanted to take the River Trail. I was supposed to exit the trail at Victoria; but I failed to recognize that Hamilton and Victoria are the same freaking street. (I hate California road naming systems. Give a road one name and stick with it!) What should have been maybe a 3 mile ride ended up being 20 miles. By the time I hit the ocean, I decided I was just going to explore and make the most of the beautiful day, and get as much of a ride out of my excursion as possible. 'Course, when time is of the essence, it helps if I pay more attention to road names, and maybe carry a map.
