| Good route for kids that can handle the river trail and going over the 405 freeway. Flat except for the freeway bridge. The river trail has fun spots where you race down under the bridges and then back up the other sides. End at River's End Cafe. Great destination for breakfast. Let the kids play on the rocks after ordering while the grownups drink their coffee. Dog friendly restaurant so Grandma can meet you there with the dog. Usually the wind is against you going to the beach and at your back on the return. |
