| About 3.5k climbing, starting in East Aurora, through Wethersfield, Hermitage, Arcade, Chaffee and back to EA My altimeter said 3860 feet of climbing. Also, route 16 isn't all that much fun to bike on - too much traffic IMO. The elevation profile shows that climbing gets over after the 40th mile (at least major). East Arcade road (about mile 45) has a lot of short climbs - it is a series of rolling hills. Also, route 16 does not descend a whole lot. | |||||
