| Ride from Kingman AZ to the Hacienda Hotel & Casino in Boulder City AZ. Ride is mostly on the nice wide and smooth shoulder of Highway 93. Cross into Nevada via the Tillman Bridge. Note: If you wish to reverse route, shoulder southbound on Highway 93 is no where near as good as the northbound side thus exercise caution. |

| Great bike ride from the Maswik Lodge along the bus route and trails on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to Hermits Rest. A wonderful way to tour the canyon. Took trails on the way out. Stuck to the road on the way back. |

| Ridden on July 9, 2010. Route crosses the Potomac River at the train/pedestrain bridge at Harpers Ferry. You ride the roads from Harpers Ferry to the casino/horse track in Charles Town. The main road is very busy, but it also has a very wide shoulder. |

| We found the best way to get to Cumberland to ride the entire length of the C&O Canal Towpath is to do a one-way truck rental. This is the ride from the Budget Truck Rental office to the Holiday Inn in downtown Cumberland. The Holiday Inn is only blocks away from the C&O trail head. |
