Ridden on August 8, 2009. Ride begins at the Gettysburg NPS Vistor Center. On the return trip we took "Old Mill Road" rather than the busy Route 30. Recommend taking "Old Mill Road" on the way out too. Winery is open from 10 to 6 daily.

Ridden on August 6, 2009. This ride starts in Ashburn VA and ends in Gettysburg PA. Ride utilizes the W O&D and C&O Towpath trails. We crossed the Potomac River at Whites Ferry. Most of the ride is on back roads of Maryland. Rest stops at Whites Ferry, Fredrick and Emmitsburg for food and drink. There is also a bathroom stop in a public park in Utica.

This is the "back loop" of the 6 Gap 100. Riding begins and ends at the the Vogel State Park where there is ample parking. Ride is completely on pavement. The third and last major climb, "Hogpen Gap" is a Category 1 climb. It's seven miles long, with an average grade of 7 % (max grade of 15%).

Ride begins and ends on top of Piney Mountain in Mineral Bluff, GA. Ride crosses the Tacooa River at Curtis Switch Road. One half mile after the crossing you take a left onto Ada Street, and take it to downtown Blue Ridge. The ride makes a loop of downtown Blue Ridge, then you double back to Piney Mountain. The only unpaved roads are Tower Road, and Bell Road. A creek runs through Bell Road, where one must dismount and remove your shoes and socks to cross. Be careful!
