Take a ride, eat some food, drink some beer and climb some hills on your way back home. At the top of Balboa between Upas and Florida there is a short and steep side walk for those with a more sturdy bike.

Good hill ride with nice relaxing flats. For the slower rider, use the bike path on the south side of harbor drive, it avoids having to deal with the exiting traffic to the airport. Also, I ride mountain bike so the part through Balboa will have to be modified for a road bike.
