| A shortened version of the popular chambers-winter combo. This uses the narrow single track that traverses the hill at the end of long-ridge track. Turn off is just after the creek crossing and before the cleland park boundary gate. The trail is narrow and at times has a very dangerous drop off to the side which some riders will have to walk through.
Please be courteous to walkers as riding is not allowed. |

Sunnyside road->Sherwood Tce-> Allandale Ave-> trail starts
Short but fun single track with several switchbacks. Very slippery in wet conditions, but always a tricky descent. At the top it joins a fire trail that runs below and more or less parallel to Gill Terrace.
Turning left at the fire trail will bring you to a point of intersection of the bullock track, centre track, pioneer womens trail, Gill terrace and Hayward drive. |
