From Ome, unfortunately through the tunnels up to Okutama lake, the steep (but relatively short) climb over Tsuru Toge and the long decent, with a diversion through "Tallon's Turn-off". Finish up with an ascent of Wada Toge and a decent on "Tallon's Traverse" (actually, a descent is not recommended on this road...).

Starting from Sagamiko, cycle through forest roads and over a few passes including Yabitsu, and looping back to Sagamiko. Wonderful autumn leaves.

From Shin Matsuda station to tanzawa-ko via a couple of rindo and then capping it off with Mikuni Toge before heading back east along the Doshi michi. Stunning views of Fuji-san.

Start at HigashiOme station, head towards Chichibu, soon turning left for the long climb over to Arima Dam ("Beware of the Bears"). Then north to another pass, east upwards to Shiroishi Toge, across the Greenline, descending a wonderful valley and eventually taking the cross country route back to Higashi Ome station.
