we took the wrong road (to arreton) which added more mileage, but it's still a long ride and is far from flat terrain.

Quite flat and along fairly low traffic roads with cycle paths for some of the route. Nice roads around marwell zoo if you want to make the route longer.Also you cant get lost as you just follow the signs for marwell all the way
