Bittern Ride rhennings May 20th United States > Oregon > Aloha 94km Recreational, Training, Onroad, Intermediate, Low traffic, Rural
This is a nice mostly rural and generally level route that takes you through a really nice stretch of the Tualatin valley farm country...the ride gets it's moniker because we usuall stop at a wetland about halfway into the route called Cedar Canyon Wetlands, and sometimes see and here a secretive wading bird called a Bittern in the marsh. Food and water are available in Hillsboro, Banks and Forest Grove. A favorite ride of the Aloha Bike Club!
