Nice fast ride: only about 3 miles of real climbing, and when the wind is out of the south you've got 8 - 11 miles of smooth, rolling, downwind bliss... perfect for an all out spin session. Passes thru Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Juanita, Kirkland, Redmond, Woodinville, and Bothell.

About half of this ride is on arteries and 2 lane highways -- from where NE 124th crosses Sammamish River Trail to a few miles west of Preston. The other half is primarily on multi-use trails. There is a very rough 2 mile stretch between Preston and Issaquah on the Issaquah Creek Trail. It's a dirt trail with a lot of protruding native rock. I would think it's navigable with nearly any bike, provided you ride slow enough.
