| Nice ride on a Sunday. A lot of friendly people in carriages waving hello to me. I assume that they were going to church--not unlike what I was doing I guess. Mostly quiet country roads with wide shoulders. |

| ends in a campsite close to the airport. I picked up a bike box in BS bikes. There are many bike stores in Geneva. I had to go to four before I found one that would give me a bike box. There was quite a bit of road construction around the airport so this route should not be relied upon there. |

| the road over the great st bernard pass is wonderful until you reach the snow shed on the swiss side. I was happy that I had a good tail-light. I could not find a way around the snowshed. |

| got lost a little in geno. Better to ride along the water I am sure. a bit steep going up to the plateau from Genoa but then it is flat flat flat with wonderful flooded fields and viaducts along the way. Fast. Awoid staying at the camp site where I ended up if you can. Expensive, staff were unfriendly and facilities were dirty. I was the only camper there, hmmm |
