An off road cycle up and down the locks along the Ashton canal. (Approx 45min-1hr at a gentle to moderate pace) I tend to head out along this route and then turn back and head back into town. Some dog walkers and other cyclists, very quiet route. Some industrial scenery and some suburban, tree lined areas.
