| this is pretty much the most direct route from Proteus in College Park to downtown Silver Spring. it mostly goes along University Blvd, which is a very high-traffic road, and can be unplesant. an alternative is to go down the NE Branch to the NW Branch, then up to Sligo Creek, and take that to Wayne |

| this is a simplified, flatter edition of the other _Pack route. It turns south on Beach Dr instead of climbing into Kensington. I was planning on it being shorter, but Beach is windier than i realized, so it's about the same, but should be faster |

| This is a very climby that weaves in and out of the Rock Creek Valley. it also features 4 overpasses that you go both under and over, which i think is cool. This ride can only be done in its entirety when the Zoo Grounds are open. |
