| White River ON to Wawa ON, 2008-07-02 | cyclophilia | Jul 25th | Canada > Ontario > White River | 90.3km | Onroad, Touring |
| Highway 17 (Trans-Canada) all the way from White River to Wawa. White River has a train station, bus station, groceries, restaurants, motels, gas stations. From White River to the outskirts of Wawa, there were no services (2008-07-02) except one hunting/fishing lodge between White River and Obatanga Provincial Park (near Dollar Lake??). Several of the motels/restaurants/gas stations outside Wawa were closed (out of business). Wawa has full services. Ask at the Wawa tourist centre regarding bike shops. (There was a young man who operated out of the garage of his house. This is probably the only "bike shop" for more than 100km in any direction.) | |||||
