| February 10, 2008 (Sun) Sanford FL The Great Valentine Century (7th Edition) Presented by The Sports Herald. Start & finish: Captain's Cove 4380 Carraway Place at the Sanford Marina. Distances: 15/35/100 miles. This will be the seventh year that cyclists will ride through historic Sanford on the St. Johns River. Along narrow, hilly and heavy canopied roads. Load up on fruit, carbo's and water then take off on one of our incredible rides across pristine Central Florida, through hamlets, over shady roads. Great 15 mile ride opportunity for starters. Along creeks, across old bridges along the St. John's tributaries, through the famous spiritual community like Cassadega, then along the banks of Lake Monroe back to enjoy a great post ride meal. Century starts at: 7:30 AM All other rides starts at: 8:15 AM. Amenities: Great power breakfast, included. Multiple support stations.
