| Note - this route is actually mapped back to front !! Bit messed up as got turned around in Chorlton, but a simple and non hilly ride First part to Chorlton mainly off road down an old railway ( think we may lose this soon as the Metro appears to be being extended) then Chester Road has decent cycle lanes. Manchester centre is easy enough to find a safe route through and Rochdale / Oldham road and Alan Turing way all have decent cycle lanes as well. | |||||

| There are various places the route can be shortened or amended depending on your knowledge of the area. Main Hill is up Mill Lane in Reddish Its about half and half off / on road, but the road bits are fairly simple and straight so whilst the can be fairly high traffic its not daunting | |||||
