| The North Shore road classic. Great for workiing on intervals. Lots of elevation changes. Be aware of traffic, although most driver's are used to seeing plenty of riders on this route. If riding solo, you can usually link up to a group somewhere along the way. | |||||

| Our classic Wednesday night ride. Starts the 1st week of April and goes until atleaast the last week of September. Nice little tempo climb on a controlled one way, two lane roadway. 1lap warmup with the whole group and the we split into groups for a few more. This is a "NO DROP" ride. That doesn't mean that when things go uphill it doesn't get interesting..... | |||||

| Nice route with some climbing in it. Not too difficult, but your legs will let you know that you spent some time going uphill. Pay attention to the climb out of Horseshoe Bay on the highway. Don't panic, there is a shoulder. Recommend that you go with atleast one other rider. Bring 2 bottles and possibly an energy bar for this one. The climb to the lookout on Cypress have an average gradient of 7%. Nice steady tempo and you'll get up ther just fine... | |||||

| Nice classic training ride right around the 100km benchmark. Usually a good tailwind on the stretch of road to Iona Beach. This of course will make for a little echelon work for the trip back. Bring plenty of water on this ride. Not too hilly. Great sections to work on your TT skills. Find a group of 5 riders of similar abillity and crack this off in under 3hrs... | |||||

| Nice route with minimal difficulty climbing.Lots of flat fast sections.The only area of concentration is while riding through metro city section.Once out at UBC prepare for a fast long section of smooth pavement with a very wide shoulder! | |||||
