you will need a forest service pass. This ride is only available in the summer and fall seasons. Park at South Twin Lake. The Crane Prairie Loop can be ridden in either direction. There are NO big climbs. There are great views of South Sister, Broken Top and Mt. Bachelor. A side detour can also be taken to Cultus Lake. There is a nice place to stop for lunch at Snow Creek on Hwy 40. South Twin Lake and Crane Prairie Lakes have stores in the campgrounds.
