This is how I kept myself occupied when a landslide closed Springbrook road for much of 2009. The Mt Nimmel climb has gradients exceeding 20%, but also fantastic views. Little Nerang Dam is beautiful the morning after a storm, and Austinville has some of the best rainforest in south east Queensland.
