This is a shorter version of the classic tour, first run in 1979, and is held in September in the beautiful Door County of Wisconsin. This route was used in 2009 and is the 76 mile route.

This route was developed by a member of the Ozaukee Bike Club. Harder going west but you are rewarded with a pretty much a 12 mile downhill on Western Ave on the way home.

This is day one of the first ride across Wisconsin on August 21, 1978 You can take the La Crosse River, the Elroy-Sparta and the 400 State Trails from La Crosse to Wonewoc. The trail route is about 70 miles.
