Ash bank provides for a good hill climb, it is never ending, good speeds into wetley rocks, be careful of Bagnall bank.

The hills are relentless for 6 miles, i struggled at hulme hill, past park hall top car park, though ash bank was great, shame the wind was high, i only managed to get max mph of 31.1

From the start through to Hilderstone it is a good climb and the cocknage hill finishes you off. Good downhill speeds can be taken through sandon.

Be careful of the A16, this is a Red route and the road surface is very bad in places. great views and good wildlife.
