A nice ramble from the centre of Cambridge through some of the nicer villages to the west and south. Sticks to smaller roads as much as possible. Includes a couple of climbs (Chapel Hill is probably the best sharp climb within reasonable distance of Cambridge) and my personal favorite on-road descent - a sweet, calm, relatively straight drop down a little-used road going underneath the M11. Suitable as a solid morning's training ride, or a more relaxed day out. Chapel Hill is the only sharp climb, so this is suitable for less serious riders (i.e. get your mates out and get them to give it a go!). Good for showing people how rural it can all get within a short distance of some major roads.
