   DEAR ALL,
   Bikely's great. My focus is on safety; bicycling to stay healthy and live long doesn't make sense if you get run over. I seek routes that are principally bike path, with maybe a bit of quiet roads and footpath if you have to.
   A succinct, written summary in the cue card, at the start, describing the route's features,especially safety is important. This especially when using bikely in cities that you are not familiar with.

   I use the tags to help flag a route with the attributes you describe.
   Here's the current TAGS available:
   Commute Recreational Training Onroad Offroad MTB Urban Rural Scenic Smooth Rough Steep Basic Intermediate Difficult Low traffic High traffic Safe Unsafe Not Bike.
   With TAGS, users can see these attributes without having to enter the route itself. So a route similiar to the one's you describe might get tagged with Safe, Offroad, Basic, Recreational.
   What you can't do yet is make the TAGS part of your search criteria, so in addition to searching for USA, NEW JERSEY, you also search of routes tagged with SAFE (for example). I'm sure this kind of searching will come as Jules makes enhancements.
   
   If the current tags don't meet your needs I would make suggestions here about additional TAGS that Jules could include.
