    Microsoft has once again created a non standard browser.
    BIKELY does not work under IE8.

    Use a compliant browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera.

    Skewer--Please define "does not work under IE8". I've discovered I can't create routes. But it seems OK to call up existing routes.

    Most of the recent posts in this forum have been from people assuming that Bikely is broken because they cannot draw a map. The trouble was traced in most cases to IE8.

    If you can't draw maps in Bikely it makes it pretty much useless to me.

    The purpose of the "do not use it" subject line is to catch the eye of those having just that trouble and to direct them to a solution (browsers that do work).

    Some report that turning on IE7 compatibility mode resolves the problem, but you really are better off with a better browser

    I believe there is a "compatibility" button you can press at the top somewhere which causes IE8 to use older code which then enables some "broken" web sites to function again.
    I did that when Bikely hiccuped and now can use all its features again.

    Posting to bring topic to top of forum as some people still appear to not be aware of the problem.

    Some who have had the failure report that turning on IE7 compatibility mode resolves the problem, but you really are better off with a better browser
