Seattle to Mt. Vernon (Not Recommended for Inexperienced Cyclists or Recreation)

    Agree with ride title. A much safer route (at least up to Everett) is to take Meridian Ave N. (just east of hwy 99) up to just before it hits 99, then take a right, a left, a right, and find the trail at 72nd and 226th (at the electrical substation). Take the Interurban trail (easy to lose if you don't know it!) up to Colby ave in Everett, then join the rest of this route (plug here for my routes...see jefflynch35's routes...many head north on the trail). North of Everett, there's no safe route. Be careful!!
