    The route was changed when the new Narrows Bridge was finished. You do not cross the Skyline foot bridge to get to the north side of Hwy 16. You turn left there onto Skyline Dr. and pick up the trail just short of 6th Ave. The new bike path continues along the south side of the new (south) span.
