    The section of route from Greenfield to Shelbyville is rural/woodsy and is a fun ride. The northern section (north of Greenfield) is flat and straight for the most part. There are gas stations/convenience stores in Greenfield, Shelbyville, and New Palestine for water-gatorade-snacks. The ride along the frontage road (Michigan) along I-74 is not so bad and takes you right past Indiana Downs, which is also another possible pit stop for water/restrooms. Staying on the frontage road requires some attention at Indiana Downs, you need to loop away from the highway to clear the interchange.
