I just joined Bikely and am a newbie in uploading routes. I just uploaded a route which I feel is quite good , but the column "Where" keeps asking me " Please locate this route " I'm at a loss how to do it. Can any body advise ?

    Click on the route.
Click the "Locate" tab in "Locate Draw Describe" .
Enter city - click "Go" - select the right one from the list that drops down - click "Start Drawing"
    click the floppy icon (Save)

That sounds reasonable, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
I get the route and map up on the screen, got to "Locate", type in a nearby city (the actual start point of the route isn't accepted), click on the name when it shows up below where I typed, go to either DRAW or DESCRIBE and save the route.
When I got back to the list, I'm still asked to locate the route.
    Any further suggestions???

What Peter suggested works great for me. That said, sounds like a bug. Another option would be to do a "copy this route" under the share menu so you get back to a blank Locate field on a fresh save action and add your location. Maybe that will get you past the code that's continueing to demand a location even when you give it one.

    Then delete the original map.

Perhaps it just takes more time than I was giving it, as the problem seems to have gone away.

    Thanks for the advice!!

What I would really like is for more towns to be included. I've had to pick only the largest cities in France, and IMHO they don't really give someone a clear idea as to where the route actually starts from.
