    Hi -

I just want to thank you for fixing the elevation profile feature. It was missed!

My elevation profiles are still not working! I entered 4 routes last week (e.g. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/4-day-Canberra-Goulburn-loop-Day-1) and the profiles came out completely flat, which the terrain definitely isn't! I just entered another route and the elevation profile follows along OK and then goes to zero in a couple of places. Are you able to fix please?

    Thanks a lot

I made a map and the elevation profile is 1/2 there... it flat lines at about 1/3 of the way. I'm using FireFox. Here's the map:

what's going on? How do I get the full profile?

It looks like it thinks the return path is in the water? I downloaded the gpx file and it's full of zero elevation at the end.

You could try moving the point a tad inland as an experiment.

I've seen zero elevations near water and canals before.

I see aflat line on an out-and-back route. OK on the way out - "flat lines" at some point on the way back.

I have the very same problem with a trip we are planing to Tuscany. At first the routes where showen in the elevation graph as partially flatt but when I pressed the rebuild button, in 24 h +- they where fixed. But since then the last 4 routes I have waited for 4 days and nothing has changed ...

I've had the same problem. Of five routes I've entered, only one has a complete elevation profile. Three are completely flat; one goes flat about halfway. Any suggestions?

How do you read the distance on the elevation profiles? On mine the divisions go something like 0mi, 0mi, 1mi, 1mi, 1mi, 2mi, and so on.

Elevations not working for me, either, nor do they work when I request a re-load.

Sort of nullifies the whole point of it ...

It was working perfectly a while ago, but now broken again. It's the most useful and interesting bit of information I've ever seen on a cycling site, so please try to get it fixed soon .....

I don't want to pile on, but I'd really be interested in the total climb for a recent route, but I've been waiting two days for the profile to appear. Thanks for a great site that's undergone steady development for a couple of years!
