We did this route as Day 8 of the Bairnsdale to Bemm and Back Tour.

In order to avoid the steep climbs at Stoney Ck Trestle Bridge encountered on the railtrail, we decided to try the road....I think this proved more problematic though! The road was quite Sandy & rough, and one of the riders came off her bike a couple of times.
