* Map (Full Route)
* Cue Sheet (Overview of full route).

This was a 10 Day unsupported tour that a small group of us did over the Christmas/New Year period of 2005/2006.
Myself, Pat, Brook, Greg, Glynne & Gabrielle started off from Moss Vale. Liz joined us half way through day 2 (She meant to start with us, but missed the train from Sydney). Brook & Liz decide the going was a bit tough, so they left us at Captains Flat and headed for Braidwood. Gabrielle headed back for Canberra from Jerangle, as she had to return to work. John caught the bus to Cooma, and joined us at Numeralla. Brook stayed in Braidwood, and joined us again after the rest day for the final two riding days...

Due to the extreme heat and being slower than expected (due in part to roads in poor condtion), a few changes were made on-the-fly. Originally we had planned to ride from Jerangle to Cooma, then to Cascades Camping area in Wadbilliga NP, then to Berlang campground in Deua NP and onto Braidwood. However, we decided to stop at Numeralla and then have an extra rest day (which ended up being a record high temperature). While it was a rest day for Pat and myself, Greg & Glynne left early and rode into Cooma to meet up with John and buy some supplies. They were back by late morning. The next day we had planned to get to Berlang, but stopped at our second water stop for the day and camped there.
(Note: I had organised water stops at two properties on this day. Although there are a number of properties along the route, a lot are abandoned or have locked gates. Most properties are a fair way off the road).
The road from Nerriga to Nowra was probably the most corrugated road I've cycled along. There was no relief for quite some distance. Some roads on earlier days weren't the easiest either!

Day 1 : 71 km - Moss Vale to Bungonia
Day 2 : 74 km - Bungonia to Bengendore
Day 3 : 79 km - Bengendore to Jerangle
Day 4 : 41 km - Jerangle to Numeralla
Day 5 : Rest day (see above).
Day 6 : 48 km - Numeralla to Snowball
Day 7 : 67 km - Snowball to Braidwood
Day 8 : Rest Day
Day 9 : 56 km - Braidwood to Nerriga
Day 10 : 70 km - Nerriga to Nowra
