    * Map (Full Route)
    * Cue Sheet (Overview of full route). See Day 1 Cue Sheet for more detailed info on that day. No other Cue Sheets completed.

    A group of us did this ride as an 11 day unsupported tour over the Christmas/New Year period 2004/2005.
    Myself, Pat, Greg, Glynne, Brook and John started the ride, but Brook had major bike problems around Paynes Crossing on Day 3 and had to pull out (His bike was converted to a single speed, and he was able to ride into Singleton where he caught the train back to Sydney). John had to go back to work after the New Year's public holiday, so he caught a train back from Wellington. The remaining 4 of us finished the ride.
    We had planned to ride to Broke on Day 2. However, we visited friends of Greg & Glynne's during that day, and stopped there a little longer than we'd planned. We stayed at Wollembi instead, but, together with the mechanical problems with Brook's bike, that made day 3 a LONG day...and it was hot!
    A few other days were quite hot as well - We had to contend with melting bitumen on Day 8 between Wellington & Lake Burrendong.

    Day 1 is the only day I've fully documented at this stage:

    Day 1 : 94 km - Rooty Hill to St Albans - Map | Cue Sheet | Comments
    Day 2 : 59 km - St Albans to Wollembi
    Day 3 : 102 km - Wollembi to Denman
    Day 4 : 74 km - Denman to Bylong
    Day 5 : 80 km - Bylong to Gulgong
    Day 6 : Rest Day (and half of Day 7 as well).
    Day 7 : 30 km - Gulgong to Goolma
    Day 8 : 69 km - Goolma to Lake Burrendong
    Day 9 : 79 km - Lake Burrendong to Orange
    Day 10 : 88 km - Orange to Bathurst
    Day 11 : 69 km - Bathurst to Lithgow.
